The victory at Cricket Hill was the first victory by an American force after the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Note: Commemoration and wreath-laying ceremony and in the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be moved indoors to the Marina boat storage building.
