Annual NATO parade in downtown Norfolk. The only parade in the U.S. honoring NATO features over 100 parade units, including U.S. and international bands, military units, community groups, and floats representing every NATO member nation. The U.S. parade float will feature a full-scale replica of the Liberty Bell. Marching in the USA formation will be the Yorktown Fifes and Drums, and the US Army's Old Guard. This marks the 3rd year for a combined French-VASSAR Color Guard to carry the US and French national flags, as well as Revolutionary War period American and French flags, in the parade. Separately, France will celebrate the French Navy's 400th anniversary, with the milestone showcased in the parade.  For members attending and staying overnight, the International Military Tattoo (several sessions) will be held at the Scope in Norfolk (festival website link: https://vafest.org/norfolk-nato-festival/.  This year, the parade step-off time has changed from 10 am to 12 pm.
