Location: Spirit of Loudoun Revolutionary War Memorial, Loudoun County Courthouse, 18 E Market Street, Leesburg, VA.
Details: This event commemorates the crossing of the Potomac River by General Anthony Wayne’s army on May 31, 1781. The army passed through Leesburg on June 3, 1781, enroute to joining General Lafayette’s Army.
