Details: Assemble at the Ann Pamela Cunningham Administrative Building between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM. Please park in Mount Vernon's public parking areas. Participants can enter the estate grounds free via the Purple Heart Gate (pedestrians only). At 9:00 AM, expect to receive the “green light” from the Mount Vernon staff to depart the APC assembly area, in formation, to subsequently March through the Bowling Green toward the Mansion and then proceed down to the Tomb Grove.

At the Tomb Grove, the George Washington Chapter will conduct a brief ceremony. There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at George Washington’s Tomb immediately after the Tomb Grove ceremony. The single wreath and carnation presentations ceremony at the Tomb will conclude approximately 11:00 AM. Participants may return to the Tomb Grove for group photographs.
