George Daniel Flohr’s Monument Dedication

Lt. David Cox chapter will dedicate a granite stone engraved with a description of Private George Daniel Flohr’s service in the American Revolution with the Royal Deux Ponts, French Army.
Credit: Daniel Bustos, "40mm Regiment des Royal-Deux-Ponts, Yorktown 1781”. The stone is located next to the church he served as Father Flohr. The dedication ceremony will feature Robert A. Selig, who is a historical consultant who received his Ph.D. in history from the Universität Würzburg in Germany in 1988.He published a number of books on the American War of Independence and was involved in the journal of Private Flohr connecting to Father Flohr of St. Johns Lutheran Church.
