Host/POC: Sgt Major John Champe Chapter VASSAR / Barry Schwoerer. Location: Muster at the Hamilton Safety Center, 39071 E Colonial Hwy., Hamilton, VA. Firing Event: NoEvent Color Guard Commander: B.Schwoerer. Heat Index: 84F Details: Color Guard muster at 10 am. VASSAR will support a float in the Hamilton Memorial Day Parade. The VASSAR Color Guard will carry colors in front of the parade. After the parade, we take the float to Hamilton Town Park, where we set up a display with colonial games for kids and handouts between 12-2 pm. At noon, VASSAR will present a flag certificate to the Mayor and town council at the illuminated flagpole at the entrance to the Town Park.
