The General Willaim Campbell chapter in association with the Clinch Mountain chapter of the SAR will be presenting local veterans with a certificate of appreciation for their military service as a part of America's 250^th anniversary of independence. There are 20 veterans that will be honored during this event on December 30, 2023, at 1:00pm at the American Legion building in Tazewell, Virginia. 

This will be a catered event following this presentation ceremony so an accurate count of persons attending is greatly appreciated. SAR members from these as well as other SAR chapters are invited to attend. DAR members are also invited to attend and support this event should any choose to accept. Please RSVP no later than December 18,2023 to have a final total of all persons and guests attending this event.

The General William Campbell chapter will be hosting the color guard with flag presentation to open this ceremony.
