Overview: The event honors 12 Patriot and 2 Crown Soldiers who died and were buried in unmarked graves where they fell on the Camden battlefield (August 16, 1780).  The remains will be carried in a funeral cortege led by the US Army's Old Guard along a one mile route to the same Church where Maj Gen Baron de Kalb is buried: Bethesda Presbyterian Church (502, Dekalb St., Camden). Following service, the Soldiers' remains will be re-interred.
