New River Valley Chapter SAR

The New River Valley Chapter SAR chartered in is one of seven chapters in the Frontier Region. Located in the heart of the New River Valley near Radford, Virginia, our chapter is deeply rooted in the rich history of the Wilderness Road region. We primarily draw our membership from the towns of Blacksburg, Christiansburg, and the counties of Giles, Pulaski, Montgomery and Floyd.

We are a dedicated group of men who honor their Revolutionary War ancestors and serve their community. Through various historical preservation projects, educational programs, and community outreach initiatives, the New River Valley SAR strives to inspire patriotism, promote historical awareness, and foster a deeper connection to the sacrifices made by those who fought for American independence.
