SAR Eagle logo of Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter The Sgt Maj John Champe Chapter SAR was re-chartered in February 12, 2022 and is based in Loudoun County. It is one of eight chapters considered part of the Northern Region of the Virginia SAR. A new chapter website, https://johnchampe-sar.org/, was launched in July 2023 to support our members, prospects and the local community to learn more about the chapter's activities, programs and services.

The chapter is often recognized at the national and state level with awards such as the 2024 President General’s Cup (2nd place, 50–99 members) and the Liberty Bell Americanism Award (3rd place, 40–99 members category).

is chapter was won two consecutive President General's Education Outreach Streamer (2022, 2023) for its robust support of local historical presentations to the community, at ceremonies held at the Annual Congress of the National Society Sons of the American Revolution.
